Innovation in the Tourism Sector - Brazilian Startups with Technological Solutions for the Tourist

This study aims to map tourism startups in Brazil with a focus on tourist service and convenience, as well as identify the intellectual property of their brands at the National Institute of Intellectual Property – INPI. For this purpose, an exploratory and descriptive methodology was used, carried out in two stages: 1. Survey of tourism startups with a focus on tourist services and convenience in the database of the Brazilian Association of Startups – ABSTARTUPS; Innovation Challenges in Tourism and 100 Open Startups (the network formed by open startups) and 2. Search for trademark registration at the National Institute of Industrial Property – INPI. The main results show that of the 175 startups mapped, 36% are related to accommodation reservations, ticket purchases and transport; 21% related to tourist information and itineraries; 20% related to tourist events and activities; 10% related to communities and 13% other services (real-time weather and traffic, currency exchange, etc.). And that 75% are concentrated between: São Paulo (37%), Minas Gerais (17%), Rio de Janeiro (9%), Rio Grande do Sul (7%) and Santa Catarina (6%). Regarding the brand's intellectual property, 39% of the 175 tourism startups made a deposit at Inpi, of which 31% have active registrations.

Nursing Assistance for the Hypertensive Elderly: Reflective Approach to Self-Care

Systemic Arterial Hypertension (SAH) is characterized by high levels of blood pressure in the arterial vessels. Orem's theory of self-care has become an important tool for the prevention of diseases and reduction of morbidity and mortality due to this cause, considering the extrinsic and modifiable factors of the disease. This study aims to reflect on the nursing care of hypertensive elderly people, based on Orem's theory of self-care. This is a study with a qualitative and descriptive approach, theoretical-reflective, from the perspective of Dorothea Orem's theory of self-care. The SciELO library, BDTD and BDENF databases were used. The search period was from February to May 2022, with time delimitation from 2017 to 2022. To guide the search, the DeCS/MeSH were applied: ¬"Nursing Theory OR (Health of the Elderly AND Hypertension OR Nursing Theory" in SciELO and "Nursing Care" OR "Elderly" AND "Nursing Theory" AND "Aging" in BDENF and BDTD, associated with the Boolean operators AND and OR. According to the eligibility criteria, 27 articles were included in this theoretical-reflective study. Orem considers self-care, the execution of actions that the individual initiates and executes in his own interest, in order to maintain life, stay healthy and in function of well-being. Therefore, to make a difference in nursing care to the elderly with SAH, it is essential to connect knowledge from nursing theories, research and clinical practice. As well as, to reflect on the practice of self-care by the elderly, understanding whether it is necessary to intensify the development of research on the subject investigated.

The Nature of the Future: Comparative analysis between concepts of instability from Keynes to Bresser-Pereira

In the present work, the comparative method was investigated, in an approach to the theses “Investment in Keynes: link between the short and long term and criticism of currency neutrality”, by Renato Wasques and “After all, the secular stagnation of capitalism?” by Luiz Carlos Bresser-Pereira, identifying their similarities and differences between economic and social approaches. The beginning is given by a description of the objects of study and later an analysis of them, plus contributions from other works with concepts, in order to strengthen the research. To achieve the proposed objective, a comparative analysis was carried out, based on the theories present in each one of them, added to other contents collected in e-books, scientific articles and websites according to the proposed theme. The article suggests that there are similarities mainly regarding the instability of the economy, and the secular stagnation of capitalism. As a result, it was possible to distinguish the different aspects of each approach taking into account the reduction of investment opportunities due to: the instability of the level of production, employment volume, interest rates and a demographic slowdown.

Leprosy in times of the COVID-19 pandemic: An integrative literature review

Leprosy is a chronic infectious pathology mainly caused by the intracellular pathogen Mycobacterium leprae. This bacterium especially inhabits skin macrophages and Schwann cells of peripheral nerves, causing skin disease and/or neuritis. COVID-19 is a severe acute respiratory disease (SARS-CoV-2), it emerged recently, while the causative agent of leprosy lasts for more than 2,000 years. Thus, the studies were published in the years 2020, 2021 and 2022, being the equivalent of 14.29% in the year 2020, 71.42% in the year 2021 and about 14.29% in the year 2022, most of the works were from Brazil 85.71%, against 14.29% from Nepal. Regarding the results exposed, it is worth noting that, due to the decrease in the underreporting of endemic diseases, such as leprosy, due to COVID-19 infection, concerns have arisen about the diagnosis and treatment of the disease because of the reduction in notification and demand from users. during the pandemic due to social isolation. Among the main issues, we can highlight the increase in the difficulty of access to health and poverty due to the obstruction of non-essential services, which mainly affects those who already live in precarious conditions.

Adherence to antihypertensive pharmacological treatment in Primary Health Care

Systemic arterial hypertension is considered a Chronic Non-Communicable Disease, being one of the main conditions of care in Primary Care and is widely associated with increased cardiovascular risk, making its prevention and treatment extremely important. Therefore, an integrative literature review was carried out, based on journals published in the PUBMED databases and the Virtual Health Library (BVS). The data search was performed using controlled descriptors and the Boolean operators "AND" and "OR". After the collection and selection of articles in the databases, 12 articles were eligible for the construction of the review. The research shows that the causes of low adherence to the treatment of hypertension are varied, although there are few people who adhere to the treatment, among them the following stand out: low knowledge about SAH; religious beliefs; the superstitions; the low income; low schooling; lack of knowledge about the treatment; adaptability to the new routine; and the inability to create a custom.

Assessing mortality risk in ICU patients: An integrative review

ICUs (Intensive Care Units) are characterized by a high level of specialization in health care, both in technical-scientific training and in the psychological preparation of care providers. A high proportion of deaths that occur in the ICU sector are due to two main pathologies: Sepsis and Acute Lung Injury (ALI), both represent about 38.4% of mortality in hospitalized patients. The research aggregated 175 studies selected for a thorough investigation, of which 8 met the inclusion criteria. The strengths in relation to the research would be the help of the tools that were presented in screening decisions and risk stratification in clinical studies, as an example, we have the admission UVA score and the qSOFA score that had good predictive capacity for mortality in adult patients admitted to hospital with acute infection.

Correlation between Alcoholic beverage Consumption and Levels of Violence in the Neighborhoods of the city of Guajará-Mirim, Border with Bolivia

Alcohol consumption is a prehistoric habit. There is archaeological evidence of its use in celebrations, rites or simple crowds of individuals. With the civilizing process, the consumption of alcoholic beverages was incorporated into acceptable social standards. Several scholars have concluded that alcohol is the substance most linked to behavioral changes caused by psychopharmacological effects that result in violence. Despite all the empirical evidence that reveals that alcohol is the most significant substance in the articulation with different forms of violence. The focus of this work is to know the scenario of alcohol consumption (beer) and violence in Guajará-Mirim. Thus, this paper aims to analyze the correlation between the consumption of alcoholic beverages in Guajará-Mirim, through the survey of the volume marketed by the existing distributors in the city, in relation to drug trafficking, theft, traffic accidents and physical aggression. The research method was inductive. The methodology was based on primary research to survey field data at Guajará-Mirim neighborhood level and secondary research to build the theoretical and methodological basis. The result shows a high positive correlation between the consumption of alcoholic beverages (beer) and some aspects of violence studied, which is consistent with other studies in this line of approach.

The paths of religation of knowledge: Towards an agroecological based education

The ongoing civilizational crisis has made humanity rethink the way it has treated planet earth. The infinity of natural resources, on the one hand, and awareness, on the other, have placed the idea of collapse and the possibility of Homo sapiens, as well as other species, completely disappearing from the face of the earth. However, initiatives have emerged to repair the damage done in the past and present with a view to imprinting, but from now on, another logic to the peremptory relationship between humanity and nature. This is true in the field of sciences with the emergence of Agroecology, which can become the new great paradigm of today, given the depth with which it deals with the issues of our time. Because its practice has been rescued and/or incorporated into people's way of seeing and living. Its principles and foundations have been expressed in a true movement, winning minds and hearts in academia and on the agenda of social movements. But while it's a consistent move, it doesn't seem to be happening at the deserved or desired speed. Nevertheless, its insertion in school benches has yielded great quantitative advances. The fact is that dozens of Agroecology courses at technical, bachelor's and postgraduate levels have sprung up abroad, spreading the teachings of Agroecology. Hence, why, we propose to weave a more qualitative theoretical approach on the bases on which these experiences have been guided, in order to contribute to what we can define as Education in Agroecology.

Spatio-temporal analysis of the vulnerability of typhoid fever in the municipality of Belém, Pará, Brazil

The study sought to analyze the sociodemographic, epidemiological profile, and spatial-temporal distribution of typhoid fever in the municipality of Belém, Pará. For that, we used the confirmed cases of the disease obtained from SINAN by SESPA from 2007 to 2016. The data was categorized based on the sociodemographic, epidemiological profile, incidence rates, and monthly variation. For spatial distribution, we used the Kernel Density Estimator and the Buffer technique. Thus, we obtained 152 confirmed cases, with a higher proportion in males (67.76%), in the age group between 30 and 59 years (48.03%), and with high school education (19.08%). The transmission was mainly related to the ingestion of contaminated water and food (11.18%), with resolution at an outpatient level (69.08%), confirmed at a laboratory level (93.42%), without death records. The annual incidence rate varied from 0.07% in 2011 to 3.28% in 2014. It was also observed that the spatial distribution of the disease was concentrated in the districts of Guamá, Entroncamento, and near the Tucunduba watershed demonstrating that the greatest risk of transmission is in areas that present socioeconomic fragility and are precarious in basic sanitation. Thus there is a need for investments in sanitary infrastructure and health surveillance actions, aiming at reducing the disease in the municipality.

Post-production Growth and Quality of Echeveria agavoides and Echeveria elegans Treated with Artificial Coloring

This study aimed to evaluate the growth and commercial quality of two species of Echeveria plants after the surface of their leaves were treated with artificial dyes. The goal of the experiment was to show that the three main products and processes used for artificial coloring of potted plants by Brazilian nurseries, subject to inspection and quality control for trade purposes, are harmless to the plants and do not impair their growth or market quality. The study is justified by the need to offer safe and scientifically guaranteed indicators for consumers who are concerned about the effects of interventions on plants. Three experiments, with three treatments each, were carried out simultaneously, according to the most frequent artificial coloring products and processes in Brazil. The samples were collected directly from the producers that supply them to the market and composed of young plants, conducted in 11 cm diameter pot and filled with identical commercial substrates for each producer. The plants were kept in the laboratory for 90 days and exposed to lighting of 1,000 lux in alternating cycles of 12 hours light (from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.) and 12 hours of dark (from 6:01 p.m. to 5:59 a.m.). The temperature was kept at 22ºC with a tolerance of ± 1ºC and the relative humidity was at 60± 5%. Conclusively, all experiments showed that the interventions were harmless to the plants, and that the new leaves continue to be produced with all the natural characteristics of the species.

Effect of Consumption of Extravirgin Olive Oil on the Lipid Profile and on the Glycemia of Children with Cystic Fibrosis Seen at a Specialized Center in Belém-PA/ Brazil

Introduction: Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a genetic disease that affects the cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulatory protein (CFTR), which functions as a chlorine channel regulating the balance between ions and water across the epithelium. Nutrition has shown an important role in this problem due to the need for a differentiated dietary prescription through a hypercaloric and hyperlipidic diet associated with anthropometric monitoring, and as a food strategy extra virgin olive oil can bring several benefits due to its rich composition in acids. monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFA) and their bioactive compounds considered nutraceuticals, capable of modulating gene expression, interfering with the production of proteins and metabolites; It has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antimicrobial effects. Method: A clinical trial was carried out with children aged 2 to 11 years attended at the João de Barros Barreto University Hospital, at this age there were 20 children, 2 could not be contacted and 3 refused to participate, so the research had 15 individuals, the exposure group (n=8) received dietary monitoring and extra virgin olive oil for three months and the control group (n=7) the standard nutritional guidance for the disease. The variables were: lipid profile (total cholesterol, HDL, LDL and triglycerides), glycemic status (fasting glucose). Results: There was a reduction in the rates of fasting glucose (p=0.0355) and triglycerides (p=0.0157) with a significant difference when comparing the control and intervention groups. Discussion: no other study was found using the ingestion of pure extra virgin olive oil in people with cystic fibrosis, only studies with a mixture of olive oil and soy or docosahexaenoic acid, however, regarding the healthy population and other diseases, the tests that were significant fasting glucose and triglycerides were found several studies that demonstrate the benefit of olive oil in reducing these rates. Conclusion: Supplementation with extra virgin olive oil proved to be effective, however several factors can influence the health of these people such as lifestyle habits, general health status and individual genetic variants, so studies with longer intake time and with a greater number of participants, preferably multicenter, should be evaluated, but extra virgin olive oil is shown as another tool to aggregate the various measures to improve the quality of life of this population.

Flare up phenomenon in psoriasis after SARS-CoV-2 infection

Psoriasis is a chronic, non-communicable disease for which there is no cure. It can involve skin, nails and joints and affected individuals are more susceptible to having comorbidities. The worldwide prevalence is approximately 2%, having a great impact on quality of life. Although the etiology is uncertain, the disease is believed to result from a complex interaction between genetics, environment and the immune system. The characteristic lesions of psoriasis are silvery-white scaly erythematous plaques, the most common subtype being psoriasis vulgaris. Because there is an environmental component involved, there are some triggers that can trigger the disease or exacerbate it, among them other infections, such as Covid-19, which was responsible for the pandemic that started in December 2019. The objective of this study is to make an analysis of documented cases of exacerbation of psoriasis by Covid-19. For this purpose, a search was carried out in Pubmed, LILACS, Science Direct, Scielo and Cochrane Library databases. Studies cite as a justification for this event, the emotional stress caused by social isolation, fear after diagnosis and the pathophysiology of Covid-19 itself, causing a greater inflammatory state in the affected individual.

Psychological exhaustion in professionals in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Professionals who work in the Intensive Care Unit are subject to go through situations that demand mental and emotional control, in addition to their techniques and scientific knowledge of their area of expertise, these professionals constantly go through contexts and situations that lead them to stress, fears , raised emotions and situations of extreme exhaustion. This study aims to identify aspects involved in psychological exhaustion in professionals from Intensive Care Units. This is an integrative literature review, the research aggregated 07 studies, based on journals published in the PUBMED databases and the Virtual Health Library. In view of this, the physical and mental exhaustion of health professionals who work in ICUs is directly related to actions with a higher level of complexity and responsibilities, causing greater demands on the professional, since moral distress in end-of-life situations in a The ICU generates a feeling of incapacity imposed by their beliefs and internal conflicts, which will lead to direct patient care.

The role of the p53 gene in the development of papillary thyroid carcinoma and the new recognized therapeutic targets: A literature review

The thyroid gland is the largest endocrine gland in the body. Among the functions of this gland, we can mention the secretion of the hormones thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3), whose release occurs by the control of the thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH). Furthermore, it is involved in calcium metabolism, through the hormone calcitonin. Thyroid cancer is rare (about 1% of all neoplasms), however it is the most frequent among malignant endocrine neoplasms. Papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) accounts for more than 80% of thyroid carcinomas. In this study, bibliographic searches were carried out using the descriptors “papillary thyroid carcinoma” and “p53”; results elucidated the role of the p53 gene in the development of CPT. Due to the fundamental role of the p53 family in cellular changes, there is currently a representation of very attractive targets in the development of anticancer drugs. Thus, the new therapeutic targets indicate that, mainly, multikinase inhibitors (MKIs) may represent a potential therapeutic target.

The Crisis and Precarious Employment of the Female Proletariat in Brazil Between 2008-2016

The crisis of capitalism has as one of its causes the fall in the rate of profit and financial exuberance, and each of these causes affected the employment of the proletariat as a whole, but in this work emphasis was given to the female proletariat. Therefore, the objective of this work is to analyze the precariousness of the employment of the female proletariat in Brazil between 2008-2016 in the context of crisis. This is a bibliographic research, with a qualitative approach, in which books and articles were used as a source, in relation to the articles they were consulted in the brazilian digital library of theses and dissertations and Scielo database. The following inclusion criteria were used: articles available in full published between the years 2002-2019. It is concluded that between the years 2008-2016, the precariousness of employment affected mostly the female proletariat, and that the possible solutions to this problem must go beyond the partial solutions - in terms of public policies - that have been thought up until now, thus necessary to overcome the current political and economic system.

Psoriasis flare-up phenomenon after covid-19 vaccine

Psoriasis is an immune-mediated chronic inflammatory disease. There are several intrinsic and extrinsic factors that can initiate the disease in predisposed individuals and its exacerbation, with vaccination against COVID-19 being a relevant factor. The objective of the present study is to review the exacerbation of psoriasis, in patients already diagnosed and in new cases, after vaccination against COVID-19, trying to establish a causal relationship on which vaccines are most related to decompensation of the condition, having based on the cases reported so far in the literature. Furthermore, it is intended to elucidate the main hypotheses for this phenomenon. The search for articles was carried out in the Pubmed/Medline, SciELO, Cochrane Library and LILACS databases, using the following descriptors: Psoriasis; Exacerbation; COVID-19; Vaccination; Psoriasis; Exacerbation; COVID-19; Vaccine. The search was restricted to articles published from 2019 to 2022, and studies relevant to the topic were selected. After analyzing the selected articles, several cases of psoriasis flare were seen after vaccination, in particular the Pfizer and Astrazeneca vaccines. Therefore, physicians and other healthcare professionals should be aware of the possibility of manifestation and exacerbation of psoriasis after the COVID-19 vaccine, regardless of type and dose.

Prevalence of indicative symptoms of cognitive alterations in hospitalized elderly and associated factors

Aging causes both physical, psychological and social changes that, when added to situations which do not favor healthy aging, can lead to complications such as cognitive impairment. The objective was to evaluate the prevalence of symptoms indicative of cognitive alterations in hospitalized elderly and associated demographic factors. This is a cross-sectional, quantitative study carried out with 673 elderly people hospitalized in the 2020-2021 period. A demographic questionnaire and questions that investigated the cognitive condition were applied. Absolute and relative frequency and chi-square test were performed, considering the variable “Set of symptoms indicative of cognitive alteration” as dependent. It was found that 50.2% of the elderly have forgetfulness observed by family and friends; 29.7% reported that this forgetfulness has worsened in recent months and 30.0% have difficulty maintaining attention and a connected conversation. In relation to the elderly who presented a set of symptoms indicative of cognitive alteration, a prevalence of 17.5% was found. It was found that elderly people aged among 70 and 79 years and 80 years or more had a risk ratio of 1.11 and 1.31, respectively, of having symptoms indicative of cognitive impairment compared to elderly people aged among 60 and 69 years.
The Covid-19 pandemic culminated in the rupture of the contemporary world's relationship with infectious diseases, as it is an unprecedented event. In this way, social distancing measures were necessary, through confinement and seclusion with the delimitation of some rules. To analyze the effects of implementing social distancing on the incidence of Covid-19 in a municipality in the Brazilian Amazon region. This is a descriptive study with a cross-sectional quantitative approach, about the impacts of social distancing in the pandemic in the municipality of Tucuruí, in the inner city of the Pará state. This work took place through the collection of secondary data in the public domain, therefore, dispensing with the Ethics Committee. It took place in 3 stages, namely data collection, tabulation and data analysis. Results: From January 2020 to December 2021, the Department of Epidemiological Surveillance of Tucuruí carried out 8,499 notifications of cases of Covid-19, with an average of 4,249 cases per year in this period, with 2021 being the highest incidence, with 65.81% (n = 5,594) reported cases. There were 4 lockdowns during this period, with an average decrease of 32% (n = 200) in notifications. In summary, it was noted that the weather caused by Covid-19 devastated the population and especially the health management system of the municipality. However, with the establishment of service management, it was possible to verify the control of new cases, favoring the quality of the conduct of the managing health institutions.

Production and marketing aspects of bacuri fruits (Platonia insignis Mart.): A survival strategy for producers in Marajó, Eastern Amazon

This research sought to evaluate the aspects of production, commercialization and management of bacuri trees carried out by small producers and collectors in the Marajó. Semi-structured questionnaires were applied to 52 small bacuri producers in the municipalities of Cachoeira do Arari, Ponta de Pedras, Salvaterra and Soure. The results show that 15 small producers manage native bacuri trees (28.8%), and 37 do not (71.2%). Therefore, there is a need to implement courses on the management of sprouting of native bacuri trees for small producers, in order to enhance the production of bacuri fruits and promote the processing of the pulp in the communities themselves instead of selling the fruit in natura. The results of this research showed that with the dissemination of bacuri tree management techniques it would be possible to triple the current production, since less than a third of the interviewed producers adopted this practice. By tripling the current managed area, it would be possible to transform degraded areas into bacuri orchards and generate income for part of the small producers and collectors in Marajó.

Wall Quality, Cost, and Environmental Impact Assessment of Wall Control Blasting – A Case Study

Problems of crest damages and toe deviations render the results of wall control blasting unsatisfactory, gradually leading to a deviation between the asbuilt and the designed geometry of the pit. From explosives economy, the only to evaluate accurately the cost of explosives is to examine its effects on blasting (that is the purpose for which it was used for). This, therefore, arises the need to assess results of wall control blasting. This project assessed the current practices of wall control blasting aiming at the wall quality, cost of unsatisfactory control blasting results, and, the environmental impact. Wall quality and Cost assessment was done by comparing the asbuilt and actual pit geometry and estimating the cost incurred from hauling rock materials generated from crest damages on the 980, 1000 and 1020 Reduced Levels (RL). Environmental impact assessment was done by comparing measured air blast and ground vibration value from selected pre-split shots to the accepted values. Superimposition of the as built berm on the designed berm on the 980 RL, 1000 RL and the 1020 RL gave a loss percentage of berm area of 58.86 %, 39.48 % and 39.96 % respectively as compared to the allowable loss percentage of berm area of 20 %. A cost of $ 32,234.14 was incurred from hauling waste rock generated from crest damage from 980 – 1020 RL. The analysis of blast monitoring results of the randomly selected pre-split shots showed pre-splitting is environmentally successful.

Elements for an Aquaponics Genealogy: Ancestors of an Innovative Social Technology

Aquaponics is a social technology that integrates raising fish in ponds with growing food without soil. This article aims to (i.) analyze the situation of aquaculture and its relationship with sustainability and food security, (ii.) rescue the historical foundations of chinampas and their relationship with aquaponics, (iii.) identify the relationships between agroecology and aquaponics, (iv.) review the concept of aquaponics and (v.) present the current scenario of aquaponics in Pernambuco. For that, a bibliographic and data survey was carried out, through the historical method, in order to find clues to a genealogy of aquaponics. Aquaponics shows a high degree of approximation with agroecology as it is a sustainable, resilient social technology with high replicability power. In addition, aquaponics is an integrative, transdisciplinary and holistic technique in essence. Currently, in Pernambuco, non-governmental organizations and research institutions are promoting the development of aquaponics in several territories of the state. Therefore, aquaponics shows a high degree of approximation with agroecology as it is a sustainable, resilient social technology with high replicability power. In addition, aquaponics is an integrative, transdisciplinary and holistic technique in essence.

Development of a Device that Identify Volatile Gases in Halitosis: Efficacy Assessment in a Sample of Elderly People

The proposed study aims to verify the effectiveness of the developed device capable of recognizing and measuring halitosis. This is a qualitative, descriptive and exploratory research that will use the experimental method for the purpose of creating and verifying the effectiveness of a device that recognizes volatile gases in halitosis. For the design of the device, through analysis of the main components present in these halimeters, the best way to build a halimeter was sought based on the Arduino, which is composed of a RISC Microcontroller, and uses C/C as a programming language. C++ and to capture the gases the MQ-135 sensor was selected. For testing purposes, it happened in a sample of institutionalized elderly residents in a city in the interior of the state of Minas Gerais, composing the sample of 16 participants who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data collection took place through the control group in 3 (three phases), where, phase 1 application of the health condition questionnaire, phase 2 the handling of the device without proper mouth hygiene and in phase 3 the repetition of phase 2 however, participants performing proper mouth hygiene. The results reveal that 100% of the participants are female with a mean age of 73,125 years old, between 60 and 94 years old; 50% of the elderly women have dental calculus, 56.3% have visible biofilm and 93.8% have hygiene difficulties; as for the functioning of the device, it identified the good functioning with regard to the expected, with no failure during the applicability of the exam in any of the stages, evidencing the effectiveness of the device in measuring and assisting in the diagnosis of halitosis; 94% of the elderly women did not express complaints during the phase 2 examination and 87% in phase 3; stating that most n=14 of the elderly women indicated halitosis in phase 2 and in phase 3 only 5 indicated halitosis, effectively demonstrating that adequate hygiene and mouth care contributes to the absence of the pathological condition of bad breath and confirms the effectiveness of the device to which proposed. It was concluded that it was possible to attest in the sample of elderly women that halitosis is in fact an oral health problem present in this population and that it needs care and routine monitoring by their caregivers regarding the hygiene condition; as for the developed device, it was found to be efficient due to its characteristics, with no limitation, being able to be used as a diagnostic resource by dental professionals in different contexts.

The Presence of Structural Racism in Brazilian Culture and the use of Law as a tool of Domination

The present work is dedicated to the study of elements similar to the oppressive structure of the sociocultural relations developed in the Brazilian society that undertake structural racism and its social stains. Therefore, it is intended to rescue the ideas that postulate the cultural and universal identity, revealing the social forces that act in the construction of the Brazilian cultural framework. For this, the main understandings of authors such as Eric Wolf, Frantz Fanon and Lélia Gonzalez will be explored, who expose the hidden bases of national identity, namely, racism and coloniality, both agents in favor of the imposition of a model of Eurocentric culture designed to exclude the “different” and impose favorable behaviors on dominant groups, while silencing the cultural existence of subjugated peoples, as well as the way in which the Law is used to consolidate these relations of domination. Three topics will be presented in this work aimed at achieving the objective described above: at first, the reflection of culture as discourse, undoing the notion that it would arise spontaneously; then, through the exposition of phenomena resulting from structural racism impregnated in Brazilian culture, as well as the way in which manifestations of black culture are appropriated and silenced; finally, with the analysis of Law as a mechanism of power used by this ideology of domination to impose its ideals on individuals.

Study of Practices and Criteria Used in the Military Aviation Certification to Improve the Satellite Product Assurance

The aerospace industry is experiencing the problem of producing higher quality products under faster changes in technologies and complexities. This worsens ensuring product functionality and supporting product assurance. This is especially true in the space industry. One punctual solution is to study and adapt practices and criteria used in the military aviation industry to improve the satellite industry, as done here. So, this paper studies practices and criteria used in the military aviation certification to improve the satellite product assurance. Their comparison allows the proposal of a new model for a satellite product assurance process, especially at INPE. To contextualize the subject, a brief history of product certification in Brazilian military aviation is presented with its current principles and relevance. In addition, essential concepts and international standards adopted by several organizations are mentioned. Some differences between aeronautical and space products and their features are also highlighted. In the end, a harmonization of MoCs (Means of Compliance) strategy is suggested to align the understanding between suppliers and satellite program organizations. Some of the practices discussed in this paper may aid the requirements compliance control for the space field, which can boost some projects with limited funds, stringent deadlines, and high costs.

Civil Liability of Doctors in Times of Covid-19

The consumer protection code provides that physicians' responsibility is, as a rule, subjective. In view of the pandemic context experienced since 2020, the present research started from the following problem: How to understand the subjective responsibility of the doctor, highlighting the element of guilt, in times of Covid-19? In order to answer this question, the general objective was to discuss how the doctor's guilt is configured in relation to a damage caused by him in the face of a patient in times of Covid-19 and consequently the hypotheses of indemnity. carried out with a search of books, articles from qualified journals, accessible on Scielo, dissertations and theses available in the digital library of theses and dissertations. The documentary research was carried out from the analysis of decisions involving the civil liability of doctors in times of covid-19. As a result, it was observed that if the doctor, in the exercise of his professional activity, does not act with all the necessary technical means and due caution, he will commit an illicit act and may be called to indemnify. However, guilt, an essential assumption for the characterization of subjective responsibility, must be studied considering the context, as well highlighted by the three-dimensional theory of law, given that the pandemic context must be considered in order to understand the norm and value it in the social time.

The context in which we live today is paradoxical, as we are in a deeply challenging historical moment in relation to the future of humanity. Socio-environmental issues are increasingly urgent for society to make a commitment to efficient solutions in the direction of reversing the serious problems of destruction of the planet and the impossibility of a dignified life on earth. It all depends on an awareness of all the citizens of the world in order to face this civilizational crisis. However, any path that is pointed out will not succeed if the altered course of society and nature co-evolution is not resumed. This means that only with a deeper understanding of socioecological issues on the part of humanity will it be possible to rediscover the lost link of the harmonious coexistence of Homo sapiens with the other lives that make up the terrestrial globe. This understanding is very present in Agroecology, an emerging science that was born from the criticism of the unsustainable way of using nature's goods and the fragmented way imposed by modern science on knowledge. His option for the dialogue of knowledge, when contemplating traditional and academic knowledge, has been providential to raise the relationship between society and nature to more sustainable levels. This has been done in dialogue spaces such as culture circles and conversation circles. However, with the complexity of the phenomena, other spaces for dialogue have emerged in the field of Agroecology. This is the case of the dialogue circle, complexity based on dialogic action and communicative action.

Personas and their Influencers in the Low Voltage Electrical Sector in Brazil

The Brazilian low voltage electricity sector has been experiencing a natural monopoly situation for decades, framed by a lack of competition and no customer focus. This environment tends to change, as like it did in other countries, where small customers can choose their electricity supplier. It is necessary for distribution utilities to modernize and get to know their customers better. Therefore, the objective of this work is to present the main personas previously identified for residential and commercial in energy sector in Brazil, identifying their main influencers and how the influence occurs. The article discusses the importance of knowing consumer behavior in a digital reality, bringing theoretical references about personas and influencers. The work also deals with the perceived credibility of influencers and the factors that make communication more effective. Some figures related to the digital world, such as the most accessed social networks in Brazil and in the world, are also presented.

Use of Physical Education Classes as a Didactic Laboratory for Teaching Affine Function

The objective of this article was to present an alternative way to teach mathematics, more specifically the affine function. In this research, Physical Education classes were used as a Didactic Laboratory for Mathematics classes, where from athletics tests, 100 and 400 meters races, basic concepts such as graph construction and calculation of coefficients are carried out. Also, an analysis is made if the interdisciplinarity presented reaches some of the objectives required for the use of a Didactic Laboratory. During the research, the students were divided into groups to solve the proposed problem based on data obtained through measurements of the athletics events carried out by the students themselves, with this, they had the opportunity to produce arguments and answers in a significant way. for the questions emanating from the study of affine function. The results showed that there was a good absorption of the content and performing an average comparison between the students of the class participating in the experiment with students of classes that did not participate, a higher average of the participants was observed, a difference of 19.3%.

Students with Intellectual Disabilities in the Context of Higher Education

This article aims to describe the teaching-learning process of students with intellectual disabilities at the Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA). An exploratory, descriptive research with a qualitative approach was developed with students with intellectual disabilities with active enrollment in undergraduate courses at Campus Dom Delgado. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, through a script, containing 11 questions - related to the teaching-learning process of students with intellectual disabilities in Higher Education. The results indicate that the students entered the university through the quota system offered by the Unified Selection System (SISU)/National High School Exam (ENEM); are not receiving specialized educational assistance; do not know DACES and do not feel covered by Inclusive Education at UFMA, because although UFMA has a good structure to operationalize the inclusion process, it still lacks qualified teachers in the area of Special/Inclusive Education.

Scientific and technological prospection of Pilocarpus microphyllus and epiisopilothurin related to their anti-inflammatory activity in wound treatment

Wounds are a serious public health problem and tissue healing is a complex process that requires clinical intervention. Thus, the use of biomolecules, mainly extracted from plants, presents itself as an alternative that facilitates the innate mechanisms of tissue repair. Among the different species, it is possible to highlight the Pilocarpus microphyllus, commonly known as jaborandi, which has the imidazolic alkaloid epiisopiloturin (EPI) which has emerged in research due to its anthelmintic, anti-inflammatory and antinociceptive action. Therefore, this article aims to carry out a scientific and technological prospection of P. microphyllus and EPI focused on the treatment of wounds on publication sites and articles and national and international patents deposits. For this, a survey was carried out in the following databases: Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), PubMed and Web of ScienceTM for articles and the National Institute of Industrial Property of Brazil (INPI), Latin American Patent Bank (LATIPAT), European Patent Office (EPO), World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for patents. The search was carried out from October to November 2021, the following descriptors were used: “Pilocarpus microphyllus”, “epiisopilloturin”, “anti-inflammatory”, “in silico” and “wounds” according to the Descriptors in Sciences of Health (DeCs), as well as combinations were performed using the Boolean operator “and”. From the articles it was possible to observe that there is no published study with the use of P. microphyllus or EPI for the treatment of wounds, however they reinforce its anti-inflammatory, antinociceptive and anthelmintic activity. In addition, conducting research in silico has emerged in recent years, expanding the field of research. In patent searches for “Pilocarpus microphyllus”, the classification that registered the highest number of deposits in technological prospecting was CIP A61K, with 68.6% frequency, followed by A01N (6.9%), C07D (5.8%) , A01H (3.4%), C12N (3.4%), A61P (2.3%), A23G (2.3%), C12P (2.3%), C07K (1.1%), A23L (1.1%), A61L (1.1%), A01P (1.1%), respectively. It is noteworthy that the largest number of patents are filed in section A (human needs) and section C (chemistry and metallurgy) of the CIP, totaling 75 and 11 records, respectively. Therefore, the use of P. mycrophyllus and EPI in the development of drugs to be used in the treatment of wounds is a promising scenario for further studies due to their biological activities, which are already well described in the scientific literature.

The Practice of Integrated and Articulated Actions within the Scope of the Brazil Sem Misery Plan - PBSM as a Instrument for the Social Inclusion of Small Beekeepers in the Semiarid Pernambuco: The Case of Beekeepers of Quixaba - PE

Even with all the evolution achieved by humanity, it is still possible to identify in several societies that there are people in extreme poverty. Combating this sad reality is a task not only for governments but for all those who make up this society. In Brazil, the commitment to the fight against extreme poverty formed the agenda of the social democratic governments that commanded national politics during the first two decades of the 21st century. Recognized by international agencies as a successful example of a government program aimed at the socio-economic inclusion of the most needy part of society, the Brasil Sem Miséria Plan - PBSM focused on creating structuring conditions so that individuals, in extreme poverty, could enter the job market, managing to obtain an income capable of granting them social inclusion, dignity, food sovereignty and financial freedom. In this sense, the present study aims to discuss the integrated and articulated practices promoted within the scope of the PBSM with small beekeepers in the semi-arid region of Pernambuco, especially in the municipality of Quixaba - PE. Beekeepers benefited from the program, and how the combination of actions developed by the government, society, and producers managed to change the living conditions of this group, and how these practices can be used as an example for other locations.

A Valuation Proposal for the Historic Center of Pirenópolis using the Travel Cost Method

The city of Pirenópolis offers tourism, allowing access to several attractions, such as the Historical Center and its natural landscapes. Therefore, this article presents a proposal for environmental valuation called the Travel Cost Method. The tourist activity in the city stands out as an essential source of income and revenue for the municipality. Commercial establishments linked to tourism in Pirenópolis represented 42.3% of the Ouro e Cristais region until 2018. With this, the methodology used in the work is quantitative-qualitative, where the researchers were based both on doctrine, through bibliographic research, and in self-designed questionnaires to determine the valuation of the studied place. Taking these results as a reference, it is considered that the Survey's evaluation showed significant satisfaction in the sense of the largest number of questions raised, with only the Transit option being the only one that did not reach the maximum score of the reference. Therefore, it is concluded that the appropriation of landscapes can present future risks to the environment because it is not enough to preserve but constantly to be renewed in the matter of public policies, which should be contemplated in conservation actions.

Panorama of agriculture carried out in the municipality of Naviraí in the year 2021/2022 and its impacts on the economy of the municipality and region

This work aimed to carry out an overview of agriculture carried out in the municipality of Naviraí/MS in the years 2021/2022 and its impacts on the economy of the municipality and region. In Naviraí, IAGRO controls 946 property records and AGRAER serves 285 family farmers who sell their produce for school meals (PNAE) and also serve local businesses. Today, the municipality has become a pole municipality in the south of the state of Mato Grosso do Sul. Favored by the agribusiness that has leveraged the economy of the municipality and region, mainly by the production of sugarcane, soy and corn that has reached production records every year and also an increase in areas destined for agriculture, where currently the municipality stands out for having cultivated more than 120,000 hectares of soybeans in the last harvest, an area that has been growing every year in all cultures, that is, agribusiness has strengthened the municipality's economy, which has made the municipality not only a hub in southern region of the state, but also a reference for agribusiness in the state, a situation confirmed by the city's GDP Per Capita, today it ranks 12th in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul. In 2000, in the municipality of Naviraí, the agricultural area was 39,068 hectares in 2021 it increased to 120 thousand hectares, when compared to the area destined for temporary agriculture in the year 2000 it was 39,068 hectares in 2021 the municipality had 120 thousand hectares destined to temporary agriculture. When we look at the land use map of the municipality of Naviraí in 2000, only 10,972 hectares were used for planting soybeans in the municipality, in 2021 soybeans were planted in 120 thousand hectares in the municipality, an increase of more than 995%, which shows that agriculture has grown a lot in the municipality of Naviraí, occupying a prominent position in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul. Dozens of companies and industries linked to agribusiness are installed in the municipality, such as JBS (slaughtering and tannery), Usina Rio Amambai and Copasul, each generating hundreds of jobs, especially Copasul, which had revenues in 2021 of R$3, 3 billion, generates approximately 1 thousand jobs and is the main company in Mato Grosso do Sul. Family farming in the municipality plays an important role in this scenario, since several products produced in the reed settlement and green district are marketed for school lunches and marketed within the municipality and in the region, strengthening agricultural activity in the municipality.

Surgical Treatment of Central Giant Cells Lesions with Right Hemimaxillectomy

Central giant cell lesion is an intraosseous lesion that can cause bone destruction of relevant proportions. Considered rare in the head and neck region, represents approximately 7% of all benign maxillary tumors, being more common in the mandible and women under 30 years of age. This paper aims to report a case of a female patient, 20-year-old who presented a central lesion of giant cells in the anterior region of the maxilla. Clinically, was well delimited located between the canine and the right upper premolar, painless and hard on palpation, confirmed with radiography. With characteristics of a non-aggressive lesion, the treatment of choice was conservative surgery and after a year of postoperative control relapsed aggressively and the patient underwent a partial right hemimaxillectomy, which good prognosis. Therefore, it can be seen that surgical resection associated with clinical and radiographic follow-up is the most suitable for the control of these injuries.

The case of the Hortas Integrated Project Community in the Surroundings of CEASA/PE: A Public policy on Urban Agriculture
Retracted Article

The present work provides a brief overview of the debates about the construction of a national urban agriculture policy in Brazil, which involves actors from the field of agroecology and food and nutrition security. It also explains data from a research that studied the Integrated. Project of Community Gardens in the surroundings of CEASA/PE. The first steps of this research coincided with the questioning of whether the project dynamized the space/municipality, or just integrated an exogenous development project. To answer this question, the socio-spatial dynamics observed in the surroundings of CEASA/PE were analyzed before and after the insertion of the project, seeking to identify the transformations in the municipality resulting from its implementation. The research sought to identify the objectives and justifications that were established regarding the decision to implement the Integrated Project of Community Gardens in the surroundings of CEASA/PE in the city of Recife; compare the current reality with the forecast in the letter of intent of the public policy in question; identify the main environmental impacts in the areas directly linked to the Integrated Project of Community Gardens in the surroundings of CEASA-PE. The methodology used was the case study, having used secondary and primary data, the latter in the form of semi-structured interviews. Finally, the first conclusions obtained from the analyzes carried out were listed, seeking answers to the questions that guided the research, and that configured its objective.

Cost Benefit Analysis of Hybrid PV On Grid-Cold Storage Containers in Remote Areas of Indonesia

Indonesia has a huge potential for fish resources, reaching 6.4 million tons annually. Cooling fish is one of the processes commonly used to treat fish spoilage. One of the popular types of fish cooling media is cold storage container (CSC). The reliability of the electricity supply for CSC is one of the obstacles in remote areas in Indonesia. Solar energy can be combined into Hybrid PV on the grid, potentially reducing CSC operational costs. Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) is needed to assess the economic feasibility of the technology. This research was conducted by calculating athe investment and operational costs as well as studying the value of the benefits of implementing an On-Grid hybrid system with PV. The energy required for CSC operations is 30 kWh per day, and when the electricity supply is unreliable, it is 5 kWh per day. The energy produced in solar power plant is 25 kWh per day. The investment cost of the subsidy in this project is Rp. 539,556,000 and annual operating costs of Rp. 270,811,946. The NPV value reached Rp2,415,808,506.13; IRR of 16.15%; payback period of 8.56. The benefits obtained from implementing the PV On Grid hybrid system for the CSC project include CSC industrial production income, electricity cost savings from using PV On Grid, increasing business income in the fisheries sector, and energy reliability in supplying cold storage in remote areas.

R3TO: Algorithm for the Routing of Electrical Networks with Pole Allocation and Obstacle Transposition

The increase in energy consumption and the need to maintain continuity in supply, make it essential to plan for the expansion of electricity networks. Although there is extensive literature regarding the automatic generation of distribution network routing, the costs for pole allocation still deserve attention. This study presents the R3TO proposal, which combines Evolutionary Algorithms, with the deterministic Dijkstra algorithm, to solve network routing problems considering the adequacy of pole allocation. R3TO is able to determine the posting in a network, with minimization in the number of posts and transposition of obstacles, such as rivers or roads. In order to evaluate the method, tests were performed in a theoretical area and in a mapping of a pilot test region in a real area. The results obtained with the R3TO showed a cost reduction when compared to the traditional deterministic algorithm, and was successful in allocating poles across restricted areas, shortening the total path.
Clinical-Epidemiological Profile of Notified Cases of Acquired Syphilis in Piauí in the Years 2015 to 2020

INTRODUCTION: Syphilis is a sexually transmitted infection (STI) caused by the bacterium Treponema pallidum There are two possible theories for the existence of syphilis, the first one referring to the possible existence of syphilis in the New World and its subsequent spread by Europeans who were involved in the discovery of the americas, while the second theory refers to a possible mutation of the bacterium Treponema pallidum. The prevention of syphilis, in general, occurs in the same way as most STIs, that is, with the use of condoms. Its diagnosis is made through laboratory tests that can make a direct or indirect search for the infecting bacteria, while the treatment is done through penicillin G, in recommended doses, with some exceptions. OBJECTIVE: To describe syphilis and outline a clinical-epidemiological profile of the cases reported in the state of Piauí between the years 2015 and 2020. To know the determinants and conditions of the health-disease process, point out the forms of transmission of syphilis, describe the clinical consequences in the affected population and report the forms of prevention and treatment of syphilis. METHODOLOGY: This is an exploratory study of the literature review type, where in addition, a retrospective research was developed, with a descriptive and quantitative approach, in which the Information System of Diseases and Notification (SINAN) platform was used to collect data reported cases of Acquired Syphilis in Piauí during the years 2015 to 2020. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION: The results of this study showed that acquired syphilis, although a preventable and easy-to-treat disease, is still quite present in the state of Piauí, where 3202 cases were reported among 2015 and 2020 being mostly male with 1822 notifications corresponding to 56.9% of cases, people aged between 20 and 39 years old corresponding to 55.9% of cases being 1791, as for education the largest number is 517 and corresponds to people with complete high school, equivalent to 17.93%, the brown race corresponded to 2283 or 71.3% of those notified, most cases were confirmed by or laboratory tests, being 1856 or 57.96%, in addition, the municipality that most notified between this time interval was Picos, which corresponded to 356 cases or 11.19%, followed by Piripiri with 246 cases or 7.68% and Parnaíba with 3.9% or 124 cases. The number of cases of Acquired Syphilis in Piauí as well as in Brazil are worrying, there was a significant increase in the number of cases reported in 2018 and 2019 compared to other years, followed by a drop in 2020 that may be strictly related to the pandemic. of COVID-19, where there was a surprising decrease in the number of reported cases CONCLUSION: In view of significant numbers, it is extremely important to adopt preventive measures to reduce the number of cases of syphilis acquired in Piauí, in addition to training professionals to better notify the disease and manage patients affected by it.

Innovations that robotic surgery has brought in cholecystectomy surgery: An integrative review

The objective of this writing is to clarify the changes that robotic cholecystectomy brought to the patient and its repercussions when compared to conventional laparoscopy. The present study is an integrative literature review that seeks to describe the innovations that this surgery brought to cholecystectomy, performing a search in the Virtual Health Library and PubMED based on the guiding question: "Are there benefits of robotic surgery over the laparoscopic technique in patients undergoing cholecystectomy?", with the descriptors "Robotic Surgical Procedure", Cholecystectomy and Outcomes Study totaling 76 articles at the end, being used 20 for the preparation of the text. It was noticed that robotic surgery has conquered a lot of space in general surgery, aiming to overcome the limits that conventional laparoscopy presents, seeming to provide more satisfactory results. However, because it is a relatively new technique, the little experience on the part of surgeons, together with the high cost, does not seem to be attractive for large centers. Despite this, good aesthetic, technical, and ergonomic results have been found. We conclude that despite a good number of articles on the subject, there is an important lack of concordance among them, which generates the need for new studies approaching the theme in order to help in the elaboration of concrete evidence.

Agroka’atinga System in the Brazilian Semiarid Region

This article is part of the doctoral thesis entitled “The IRPAA and the Snap of Coexistence with the Semiarid Region as a Paradigm and Political Project in the Optics of Good Living”. bring the results obtained in experiments carried out at Escolas Famílias Agrícolas (EFAs), with emphasis on to the school located in the municipality of Sobradinho, state of Bahia/Brazil, serving the young family farmers in the region. In addition to the Alternation methodology used in this modality of teaching community and contextualized education, it was approached here the experience of the Network of Integrated Agricultural Family Schools in the Semi-Arid Region (REFAISA) in the formation of rural youth, especially from traditional communities of pasture, extractivists, agrarian reform settlers, riverside communities, quilombolas and peasant communities, introducing the Technical and Educational Program called Agroka’atinga for Sustainable Agriculture and Market Access, in five Schools Agricultural Families and on fifteen family properties in the states of Bahia and Sergipe. In this context, the EFAs inserted in their teaching-learning process, an approach on climate change, which causes lower thermal amplitude and changes in the pattern precipitation, favoring the appearance of extreme events, such as droughts, prolonged periods and increase in temperature, which will affect the production of some crops agricultural activities, demanding different attitudes and behaviors from populations, based on new paradigms (focus of the doctoral thesis), both in production systems and in the conscious consumption and marketing, ensuring socio-environmental sustainability and of technological innovations that promote the resilience of the Caatinga biome to changes climate change, resulting in the creation of the Agroka’atinga concept in the Brazilian semiarid region.

The Criminal Liability of Legal Entities for Environmental Crimes from the Perspective of the Brazilian Supreme Court

The research analyzed the jurisprudence of the Federal Supreme Court in the judgment of Extraordinary Appeal No. 548.181, from the State of Paraná, which overcame the understanding signed by the Superior Court of Justice, in the judgment of Ordinary Appeal in Writ of Mandamus No. 27.593 from the State of São Paulo, which dealt with the criminal liability of legal entities due to the practice of environmental crimes. The objective was to verify whether the liability imposed on legal entities was effective or whether it was reduced to a merely symbolic aspect. The work was developed through the dialectic method, which allows the questioning of the certainties established up to that point, enabling us to deny them and, from this intellectual exercise, to extract secure knowledge. It was concluded that the imputation of criminal liability to legal entities reveals itself as symbolic legislation that translates into an illusory action of the State with the purpose of conferring a way of solution to the problems and challenges for the protection of the environment, making it necessary that the discussions advance searching for more efficient answers for ecological tutelage.

Benefits vs. harms of using Mega Hair

Hair in women is associated with beauty and self-esteem. Hair loss can occur due to several factors, bringing with it changes in the person's quality of life. In this sense, hair extension comes to supply the lack of hair, increasing self-esteem and filling the emotional void caused by the fall. Alopecia or hair loss, as it is popularly known, is caused by several factors, such as hormonal dysfunction, stress, lack of vitamins such as iron, zinc and vitamin D, chemicals, genetic predisposition and trauma generated by traction over long periods. . The objective of this study is to evaluate the benefits and harms of the use of hair extension, since it may be related to the development of traction alopecia, as its use can be done improperly, the maintenance time is not respected and the amount of hair to be longer than natural hair can support. However, it is necessary to study the structural composition of the hair shaft, as well as its chemical and physical composition. Knowledge of the hair cycle: anagen phase, catagen phase and telogen phase, each with its own duration. And especially the understanding of traction alopecia, its possible causes and how it can be avoided. Photos of customers who have been using hair extensions for some time, showing that the extension does not damage natural wires, on the contrary, it helps in their healthy development.

Problems Analysis and Maguerez Arch Methodologies for Teaching Rural Agroecological Extension

Immersion in rural reality has been a challenge for the Veterinary Medicine at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco, whose training locus are generally concentrated in classrooms and laboratories. Furthermore, the immersion in the reality of a land reform settlement was even more challenging, as it is a reality that is almost unknown by the students. Additionally, the students had to assume the leading role in the construction of knowledge, based on the methodology of problematization, and it was also a challenging. That is, knowing the phenomena from the concrete reality, which by the way, presented itself in a dynamic, plural and diverse way. And, of course, the experience was something quite new to students traditionally used to listening, receiving and writing down content in a fragmented way and with little room for deepening, dialogue and connection between the knowledge covered. This is because the view of reality in this case is always superficial and partial, as it often boils down to the individual point of view of the teacher and the restricted universe of four walls. And, therefore, knowing reality as it is implies, first of all, immersing in its complexity to know the intricacies and in-between of its parts and the contours of its totality, making it meaningful. Therefore, the methodology of problematization, in the light of the principles and concepts of Agroecology, of the dialogue between traditional knowledge and scientific knowledge, of experience and concrete experience, of dialogue with rural families, of intervention in reality, of reflection-action of the spaces built, in short, of the educational processes carried out, seem to have changed, greatly, not only the practice of the settlers, but above all the way of thinking and doing education of the students and educators involved.

Production of urban land use: The action of social and economic agents in the Island of the Santa Catarina/Brazil

In order to understand the structure of urban space, it is first necessary to identify the processes that originated its spatial structure and the patterns they produce from it. Conzen (2009) emphasizes that the spatial patterns characteristic of a city are determined by the land use and by the types of constructions. Therefore, based on the unequal nature of urban growth, we intend to present in this research, the changes that occurred in urban land use that bordered the axis of SC 401 and SC 404 from the 2000s, as a response to economic cycles during that period in Florianópolis, a city located in the South of Brazil. Since the 1970s, the State of Santa Catarina Island has presented a series of public investments that have been determining the consequent and excessive capacity of valorization of urban land to the present day. The implantation of these investments directly reflects the production of the urban space, from the moment its location promotes changes in the morphological structure of the city, modifying the physical or built form, the interdependence of the plan, the urban fabric and the use of the soil, through action of the social and economic agents that shape and/or transform it.

Efficacy of creatine supplementation in elderly resistance training practitioners

In old age, the reduction in muscle strength occurs faster than the reduction in muscle mass, which are hallmarks of sarcopenia, that is, a progressive reduction in strength and muscle mass. One of the strategies to mitigate these losses, in elderly, there is resistance training (RT) as an alternative, and association with creatine supplementation has been used. The effects of creatine supplementation in intermittent activities, such as sports, especially in strength and resistance training, are well described, but with divergent results regarding the mechanism of benefit. The search was restricted to articles published between 2012 and 2022, in all languages available in Pubmed, Science Direct, Cochrane Library, Scielo and LILACS databases. It was found that creatine supplementation in elderly people increases strength and muscle mass gain, resulting in a better quality of muscle function, and consequently of life, for the public studied.

Migration and gender: A study on flow migratory of young people from the Abaetetuba Islands, PA

This article records the flow of young people from the riverside who migrate to the municipality of Abaetetuba in search of better living conditions, formal employment and higher education and/or technical courses. Data were collected in semi-structured interviews with young people in the countryside and in the city, women between 15 and 27 years old, born and raised in communities and, later, some settled in city spaces. Out of a total of 37 young people interviewed in the city and on the farm (the young people interviewed at the farm are those who intend to live in the city at some point in their lives), 25 are female, which is equivalent to 68% of respondents. The research highlights the reality experienced by these young women in the countryside and the devaluation of female work in rural areas. With the increasing migration of women from island communities to the city, the riverside environment has also suffered from masculinization and aging.

Monitoring and automation of the sewage system in the city of Maceió

Flooding in urban basins is due, mainly, to excessive soil subdivision with the consequent sealing of surfaces, the occupation of riparian areas, inadequate drainage works and the obstruction of channels by debris and sediments. Considering the concepts of sustainability of urban drainage, the approach to solutions must consider a good characterization of the region, relating the occurrence of events with their causes and analyzing the effects in the regions of occurrence. One of the ways to obtain such answers is the characterization of problems related to flooding through interviews with the population that occupies affected areas. Aiming at the problem, this work deals with the assumption and practice of a flood risk supervision system, enabling its consistency with sensor networks to assist risk analysts in identifying and warning of the possibility of flooding, triggering the notification service through mobile devices of the interested community. It seeks to minimize, mainly, the social and financial losses caused by floods by predicting the flooding of coastal areas. The proposal of this work is to present a monitoring control of the garbage accumulated in manholes and its automatic removal in the city of Maceió.

Applying the Algorithm of Fuzzy K-Nearest Neighbor in Every Class to the Diabetes Mellitus Screening Model

Heart disease is the number one killer in the world. Someone who has the potential to experience heart disease is a person with Diabetes Mellitus (DM). Diabetes that is detected early can reduce the risk of heart disease and various other complications. This study aims to analyze the performance of the model that is expected to be an alternative for screening DM by using a machine learning method, namely the Fuzzy K-Nearest Neighbour in Every Class (FKNNC) algorithm. The input in this study was clinical data from Hospital X which consisted of 7 predictor variables and 1 response variable. We used the confusion matrix and the Area Under Curve (AUC) value of the Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) curve to maseure the performance of the FKNNC model, with the help of the Python programming language. The results obtained indicate that the FKNNC model is classified as a “good classification” model. This can be seen from the accuracy of the FKNNC model of 86% and F1-score of 81,8%.

Water level control in regional river vessels using automatic rule-a-matic attached to the rule basement pump

The economic impetus caused by the need to renew the Brazilian fleet of vessels, together with the growth of activities in the sector, collided with the major obstacle of the lack of construction structure in the country, due to the high degree of obsoleteness of the industrial park of the shipyards, including the ship parts industries. The most economically viable solution found by shipowners and operators was to order vessels designed and, when possible, also built abroad, which would not generate jobs and income for Brazilian workers and would not place the national industry within the current level of technological development of the international shipbuilding. The purpose of the present work is to use the automatic RULE-A-MATIC coupled to the RULE bilge pump so that the captain and engineer can be alerted about possible unexpected flooding at the bottom of the vessel. A comparison was made between the main pumps available on the market in order to justify the choice for the RULE pump, as well as describing each of the materials used for the construction of the prototype. The results indicate that, at the end of the prototype construction and after several tests, as well as reading and comparison about other bilge pumps, it is pointed out that the choice of the RULE 500 GPH pump (Galão per Hour) is due to the fact that most medium and large wooden vessels use a centrifugal pump coupled to the vessel's engine for this removal in motion and, when the vessel is anchored, the engineer starts the HONDA 5.5 HP engine, to remove water from the bottom of the vessel. vessel. However, we use the RULE pump to avoid physical wear and tear by the driver and also a higher fuel consumption, as well as a lower energy cost on the vessel. Being this pump market leader, featuring better quality, durability and reliability.

Nurses’ performance in front of children and adolescents in situations of sexual violence: An integrative review of the literature

Objective: To describe, through a bibliographic survey, the role of the professional Nurse in relation to children and adolescents in situations of sexual violence, aiming to highlight the role of nurses in this type of assistance. Method: An integrative review study carried out in the LILACS, SciELO and BDENF databases, using the PRISMA recommendations (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses). Seven full articles were listed, published between 2010 and 2020. Results: We found many publications on the subject. Among the findings, national, qualitative studies with an exploratory-descriptive method predominate. In addition, the articles show that the difficulties that nurses encounter when performing this type of care are notorious, whether due to lack of knowledge, fear of making mistakes and even the taboo in which the subject is involved. Conclusion: The results allow us to conclude that sexual abuse in minors is a major challenge for sectors and professionals, as it demands investments and more permanent training actions for nurses in all health care networks for better assistance by this professional. , as well as improving the guidelines that nurses can pass on to family members regarding the issue of complaints.
