Abstract:

The evolution of markets, technology and transport has reconfigured the way companies relate to each other and the market. Basically, nowadays all companies operating in any market participates in a Supply Chain (or network), which facilitates the agility of responses in the face of market changes. This work aims to verify the level of Supplier Management, specifically Logistics, in a company in the oil and gas segment. A bibliographical research was carried out on the themes chosen and subsequently a case study with qualitative bias in depth. The results showed that the reduction of the supplier base constitutes an important factor to assist the company both in the management of its suppliers and in the improvement of services rendered
