Physical-Equation Search: proposal of an educational writing game as a tool to support the study of Kinematics

Teaching and the way of teaching undergo constant changes. Educational games can be great allies in the teaching-learning process, but each one of them has a specific application, which is an important factor in choosing a material for use in the classroom. In Science and Physics teaching, one of the great difficulties encountered by Elementary and High School students comes from the use of equations, and there are few educational games in these directions. In this work, an educational game called Physical-Equation Search is proposed, which is based on the word search. Its purpose is the formation of equations about certain content. It is formed by a table with quantities and mathematical symbols, with sequences that can be given horizontally, vertically or transversally, being simple to make and with easy to understand rules, and can even be reused in various contents. The Physical-Equation Search is a tool to help develop memory and critical thinking about equations, in addition to creating situations that deviate from the traditional method when using play as a didactic device.
