This research aims to integrate the theoretical and academic debate into the landscape of the territorial formation of the northeastern semi-arid as well as discuss how it interferes in the public safety agenda for the sustainability of the traditional peoples and communities residing in the semi-arid region of Bahia. As a methodological proposal, a bibliographical review on the theme was used, which allowed the identification of the concepts necessary for the analysis under the Human Ecology of information and the construction of articulation links.
